Pro/Claim

After we say “I will, with God’s help,” how do our words bear witness to our baptismal vows? Stories! Through story we recollect moments of sacred insight, identify metaphors that disclose deeper truths, and shape narratives that point us toward the already and always-coming kingdom of God. Stories proclaim the extraordinary grace of Christian life in ordinary language.

Produced by the Episcopal Diocese of California and available without charge to all, Pro/Claim is a five-session, web-based, multimedia curriculum. Using the Public Narrative storytelling method, it teaches Episcopalians how to make the extraordinary — in this case, the radical promises of our baptism — accessible in the language of our everyday lives.
