Welcome to the Episcopal Diocese of California’s page for EcoJustice Weekend, a two-day diocesan event dedicated to protecting and celebrating God’s creation. 
 
The program begins Friday, May 19 with an all-day conference at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, followed by a Eucharist service led by the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. On Saturday, May 20, Bishop Curry will preside over an Eco-Confirmation service at the beautiful Golden Gate Overlook in the Presidio. The service will be followed by a day of volunteer projects around the Bay Area.

Bishop Marc Andrus invites us into an exploration of the sacrality of the Earth.

3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Afternoon Panel (2 options)

Sacred Food, Water, and Wine

Moderated by Malcolm Young, Dean of Grace Cathedral, panelists discuss sacred water, sacred wheat, and sacred farming. Just cultivation of our water, wine, and wheat makes our sacred meal even more hallowed.
