Clausen House 50th Anniversary art show and reception, Oakland

Clausen House is holding a special 50th Anniversary art show and Reception, which will feature artworks in a variety of mediums, all created by the organization’s constituents—adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The displays will feature paintings (oil, acrylic, and watercolor), sculptures and an entire section of fantastic urban art and handcrafts that includes jewelry, glassware, scarves, cards and decorated pots and plants. Clausen House is also publishing a limited edition 50th Anniversary Calendar to commemorate the occasion. All art will be for sale. Clausen House will hold a raffle to raise funds for the art program, and refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to everyone.
