St. James' Fremont Celebrates 150 Years

St. James' marks the official beginnings of their community on September 28, 1867, when the Little Church was consecrated by William Ingraham Kip, the first bishop of the Diocese of California. Now, in 2017, they commemorate their 150th Anniversary with a weekend celebration. Parishioners and clergy both past and present, families, neighbors, and friends — all are invited to a Saturday social, and Sunday's Eucharist with Baptism, Confirmation, and reception, with a festive reception to follow. Bishop Marc Andrus, presiding. Clergy are invited to vest and process, white stoles.

When: Saturday November 4, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (social gathering); Sunday, November 5, 10:30 a.m. (Eucharist with Baptism, Confirmation, and reception)
