Who Is My Neighbor? — a panel discussion about homelessness in San Rafael

Friday, December 7, 2018, 7:00 pm

The next event in Nativity's First Friday series features a panel of advocates for the homeless presenting "Who Is My Neighbor," a discussion about creating a caring community with our neighbors who live outside in San Rafael. Join Nick Morris, Executive Director of the Street Chaplaincy and representatives from the Marin County Office of Health and Human Services, Ritter Center, Homeward Bound, and St. Vincent DePaul’s Society for a conversation about how our county is addressing the needs of people who are living outside in San Rafael. The agencies will talk about the Marin County Continuum of Care, Homelessness Policy Steering Committee approaches and the different roles of the service providers in the Whole Person Care system. The panel will invite audience participants to talk about the roles of volunteers, faith communities, and other neighbors in creating a caring community for everyone in San Rafael.
