Christ Church-Sei Ko Kai outreach to Bayview Mission

Over two dozen bags of donations from Christ Church-Sei Ko Kai were gratefully received and picked up by the Rev. Nina Pickerrell on behalf of the Bayview Mission during the week of September 26–30. Included among the donations were new socks, gently used clothes, Japanese snacks, canned goods, toiletries, plastic bags, a digital bathroom scale, and a backpack full of art and school supplies. The donations were the result of Christ Church’s summer outreach project.

So far this year, the congregation has donated to the San Francisco Night Ministry, the Sanctuary Shelter, and  Episcopal Relief & Development (to help Kumamoto earthquake and Louisiana flood victims). At their upcoming Blessing of the Animals on October 9 at Alta Plaza Park, they will collect free will donations for the SF SPCA.
