Creative Leadership — Michael Barlowe — part 1 of 4

In the first session of four, the Rev. Cn. Michael Barlowe introduces his series on creative leadership and the importance of adaptive leadership from a particularly Christian approach. He uses Jesus’ words to James and John about greatness as an illustration of Christian leadership. He describes Christian leadership as dominical, apostolic, and eschatological. It is dominical in that it imitates Christ; it is apostolic in that it reflects the experience and teachings of the disciples as passed down and locally adapted through the ages; it is eschatological in that it is leading for the time being, not forever.
