Creative Leadership — Michael Barlowe — part 3 of 4

Part three of the Rev. Cn. Michael Barlowe’s series on creative leadership is focused on different levels of accountability for vestries and bishop’s committees. He begins by reminding members of such groups that they are bound both by civil law and ecclesiastical law. He then lays out major habits leadership can engage for staying accountable: knowing what is expected of them; doing what they’re asked as well as they can; continually engaging their congregation and community; reporting back to the congregation formally and informally; and planning for those who follow after them.
