Diversity — Eric Law — part 1 of 4

In his first lesson on diversity, Eric Law talks about engaging with younger generations of Americans, whose numbers are decreasing in the Church. This session lays the groundwork for the following sessions. Law encourages local churches to consider relationship, authenticity, and power and authority — what Law calls currencies — in engaging those emerging as adults today. He suggests that many young adults want to belong — to have relationships — before they believe and that they want to be themselves while a part of something larger than themselves. Law invites churches to engage the Kaleidoscope Bible Study Process to move from fear of death and closure to a place to celebration.
