Marc and Bishop Austin will make their visitation to Christ Episcopal Church Sei Ko Kai. They will be assisted by current supply priest Rev. Michael Dresbach.  A bento box lunch follows. This church, founded in 1895, is recognized as the “mother church” of all Japanese Episcopal congregations. Clergy from Sei Ko Kai founded or served at St. Peter’s in Seattle, St. Mary’s in Los Angeles, and Good Samaritan in Honolulu. Other clergy who served there include Rev. David Ota, Rev. Richard Edward Helmer, Rev. Merry Chan Ong, Rev. Canon Debbie Low-Skinner, and The Rt. Rev. Diana Akiyama, current Bishop of Oregon.
