Q: What is SF Ready?
A: It is Class #1 of NERT training. Even though it is only for an hour and a half, you get full credit for class#1 should you decide to pursue the entire NERT series.
Q: What is NERT training?
A: Neighborhood Emergency Response Training is a comprehensive series of 6 classes to prepare you for any disaster type and includes hands-on training and exercises in the last 2 classes. You will be FEMA-certified upon completion of the entire series.
Q: Can I take this class, even if I don’t intend to sign up for the rest of NERT?
A: Yes! If you change your mind later, you can sign up for the rest wherever they are offered in the next 6 months.
Q: Where can I park? How can I get there?
A: There are plenty of free street parking spaces around the church. We are 1 block from the K MUNI Line stop at Junipero Serra and Ocean Ave, 1 block from the 57 MUNI Bus Stop on Junipero Serra, and 3 blocks from the M MUNI Line stop at Ocean Avenue.
