St. Columba’s Council for Ecological Discipleship’s second 2023 Online Book Study, led by Sylvia Timbers, CED member, will explore through reading, reflection and conversation the magnificent story of our Universe and our evolving role as cosmic partners ushering in a new planetary and cosmological era.

Brian Thomas Swimme is a Cosmic Storyteller, and each of us plays a unique part in his telling of the universe’s 14 billion year ongoing evolution to self-awareness. Through the greatest scientific and philosophic discoveries, along with the intimate poetry of Brian’s life journey, we will explore the fundamental unity of our individual lives and our direct participation in the ever-evolving life of the cosmos: Cosmogenesis.
