Generations of Compassion, Sojourn Chaplaincy

Description

Generations of Compassion, Sojourn Chaplaincy

Sojourn Chaplaincy at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFGH) has healed hearts and minds for over forty years through innovative, specialized spiritual care. We were founded in response to the HIV/AIDS crisis in 1982. Since our founding, we have journeyed together through pandemics, health crises, injustice, trauma, etc.

Today, Sojourn Chaplaincy serves as the multi-faith spiritual care department for the entire hospital system, giving vital care to the patients, families, and staff 24/7. ZSFGH is a public safety net hospital and level-one trauma center. We continue to serve the most marginalized members of our community, and we need your continued support! Donations are fully tax-deductible.

Join us on October 16, 2024, at Saint Gregory of Nyssa in San Francisco (conveniently located near our campus). We will honor our legacy and look forward to a future of service with music, drinks, food, stories, and much fun! Whether or not you are able to attend, please consider giving a contribution on the event website.

If you would like to volunteer at the event, donate goods, or be an event sponsor, please reach out to Chaplain John @ john.wolff@sfdph.org
