Installation of the Venerable Carolyn Bolton as a Canon

You are invited for a Special Evensong, Grace Cathedral, Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5:30

The Venerable Carolyn Bolton will be installed as a Canon.

The Venerable Carolyn Bolton is Archdeacon Emeritus of the Diocese of California. The bishop is seating her as a canon to honor her eighteen years of extraordinary service to the diocese and her faithful ministry to Bay Area residents in need — a calling that predates her ordination in 2005. A diocesan Archdeacon from 2012-2016, her work has also included serving as Director of the St. Paul’s Pantry of Hope; Social Services Coordinator at the Oak Center Towers affordable senior housing complex; and Day Labor Coordinator and Diamond Youth Shelter coordinator at the Larkin Street Youth Center. Her numerous other affiliations include the Union of Black Episcopalians, the diocesan Standing Committee, and the St. Mary’s Senior Board of Directors. We are grateful for the tremendous love and care she has brings to each of the communities she serves.
