Classical pianist Temirzhan Yerzhanov performs at St. Paul’s, Walnut Creek

Temirzhan Yerzhanov launched his international career by winning the Gold Medal at the International Robert Schumann Piano Competition in Zwickau, Germany, and now continues to perform as an emerging conductor and pianist. Yerzhanov was named ‘Best Performer of 2007’ by San Francisco Classical Voice. In his native country he is awarded with Yenbek Sinirgen Qairatkeri, the highest honorary title for national contribution. At St. Paul’s, Yerzhanov’s performance will include Schumann’s Papillons Op 2, Greig’s Selections from Lyric Pieces, Chopin’s Scherzo No. 4, Rachmaninov’s Etude-Tableux, and Tchaikovsky’s Grand Sonata Op. 37.
