Duo Concerts with the Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet and organist Othello Jefferson, Incarnation, San Francisco

The Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet, formed in 1939, is a monument of Russian musical history. Composed of four graduates from the prestigious St. Petersburg Conservatory, they regularly perform in the most reputable festivals in Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Malta, England, Switzerland and Finland. Their varied repertoire, ranging from Russian music of the 19th and early 20th centuries to contemporary composers, is enthusiastically enjoyed by a wide range of audiences. Othello Jefferson is a native of San Francisco. He received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Single Subject Music Credential from San Francisco State University. As Choir Director at his alma mater, Lowell High School, he worked with Michael Morgan (Oakland Symphony), The King’s Singers, and Chanticleer and won performance awards in the International Children’s Culture and Art Festival in Shenzhen, China.
