Thursday, February 6, 2020, 6:30 pm

The Episcopal campus ministry at Cal is hosting a speaker series focused on how we are called to reshape our world through imaginative and intellectual process. The speakers will approach this idea from a variety of angles. Each talk follows the weekly service of choral evensong offered by the campus ministry.

February 6: Annual celebration of Candlemas - please join us for the special choral service that commemorates the end of winter festival of the presentation. Music looks back to Christmas and forward to Easter. Candles will be blessed and given and a special presentation will follow. The chaplaincy to UC Berkeley is excited to welcome Bishop Marc for an annual celebration of Candlemas. We will conclude the Christmas season with music and the blessing of candles. Music spans the 15th to the 21st centuries. Following the service Bishop Marc will present on his experience with Thich Nhat Hanh and his relationship with Martin Luther King.
