An Evening with Anne Lamott at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco

Presented by Pace e Bene and Grace Cathedral, author Anne Lamott reads from her latest book, Almost Everything, followed by a conversation with author and activist the Rev. John Dear on peace and nonviolence.

Anne Lamott is the New York Times best-selling author of Almost Everything; Traveling Mercies; Bird by Bird; Some Assembly Required; Plan B; Stitches; Help, Thanks, Wow; and others.

The Rev. John Dear is a long time peace activist, priest, teacher of nonviolence, coordinator of Campaign Nonviolence and author of many books including The Nonviolent Life and The Beatitudes of Peace.

Pace e Bene Nonviolence Service and their project Campaign Nonviolence work to foster justice, peace and the well-being of all through education, resources and action for nonviolent change.

Books will be on sale, courtesy of Books Inc. Anne Lamott and John Dear will be available to sign their books after the event.
