About the guest

Naomi Wolf is an American liberal progressive, feminist author, journalist and former political advisor to Al Gore and Bill Clinton. Wolf first came to prominence in 1991 as the author of The Beauty Myth. With that book, published when she was 23 years old, she became a leading spokeswoman of what came to be called the third wave of the feminist movement.  She has published prolifically and her latest work is Outrages: Sex, Censorship, and the Criminalization of Love, a work based on her Ph.D thesis at Oxford University.  Wolf is a frequent commentator on politics and culture and has served as a political consultant.  She was born in San Francisco and attended Lowell High School.
