Gathering for Racial Justice with Dr. J. Kameron Carter at St. Aidan’s, San Francisco

Saturday, January 26, 2019, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

St. Aidan's welcomes you to a gathering of people from various faith traditions to critically examine how our traditions have been/are caught up in racism and to embrace our call to work for racial justice. Our keynote speaker Dr. J. Kameron Carter is a professor of religious studies at Indiana University and is the author of Race: A Theological Account and the forthcoming America’s Postracial Blues: Essays on Religion, Politics, and the 21st Century Color Line. Come, let us turn aside. Let us take off our sandals together and recommit ourselves as people of faith to the work of racial justice.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Cost: Free, but please register at office@staidansf.org
