As vaccine news appears increasingly optimistic and summer comes in we are faced with another uncertain stage of this global pandemic: now what do we do?
How we rebuild, recreate, and rediscover our lives requires courageous and intentional questions. As part of that process, Tom Poynor, the Episcopal Chaplain to UC Berkeley, is hosting a weekly discussion group on the recent television series "The Good Place." The proposed format is Sundays at 7:30 (beginning on May 9) In between sessions, participants are encouraged to watch the 2-3 episodes that will be discussed. In each session there will be some check-in time, discussions (with breakout groups depending on numbers) and a "lectio divina" session based off a clip from the show. We will conclude with compline. Although the series is sequential, it is ok to miss sessions but it is hoped that people can be current with the show. The Good Place can be found on Netflix.

Sundays on zoom at 7:30 pm (hybrid options may occur over the summer)
