LINES Ballet Training and BFA Programs Showcase, Grace Cathedral, San Francisco

Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program and BFA at Dominican students come together for a special performance in honor of Grace Cathedral’s 2019 theme, the “Year of the Body.” The BFA students will perform works by Maurya Kerr and FLOCK (Alice Klock and Florian Lochner) and the Training Program students will present an original piece by Carmen Rozestraten.

In addition, FLOCK will showcase a premiere work specifically made to express and celebrate the beauty that is Grace Cathedral. This work will emphasize balanced and equal forces, care, humanity and the importance of open and compassionate communication.

FLOCK is a co-creative company founded by Alice Klock and Florian Lochner. As FLOCK, Florian and Alice co-choreograph and perform their own work, teach as a team, and produce shows in the US and Germany in which FLOCK expands to include an international group of artists and collaborators.

Alonzo King LINES Ballet | BFA at Dominican University is a unique four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program with special access to the process, environment and philosophy of one of today’s foremost choreographers.
