Performance by accomplished soprano Winnie Nieh to Support Bay Area Refugees, San Francisco

Gifted with perfect pitch and an “impeccably pure and heart-breaking voice,” Ms. Nieh has performed for Justice Sotomayor and the San Francisco Conservatory Board of Trustees, and has appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and several venues around the world. Concert presenters are Interfaith Welcome: Bay Area Refugee Support, whose members represent more than 20 Bay Area faith organizations dedicated to providing refugee support in a variety of ways; and Zion Lutheran Church. Fully 100% of the evening’s donations will go to directly to the International Rescue Committee’s Vision Project, which helps refugee girls in Oakland schools envision their futures as women in America. A reception follows the concert.
