Piano and Violin Concert to Benefit International Refugee Work, San Francisco

Friday, February 8, 2019, 7:30 pm

Classical avant-garde pianist Sarah Cahill and virtuoso violinist Kate Stenberg, two highly acclaimed musicians with a strong Bay Area following, will perform together in an unforgettable evening of contemporary chamber music.

The concert is presented by Zion Lutheran Church and Interfaith Refugee Welcome, whose members represent Bay Area faith organizations that are helping refugees in a variety of ways. Fully 100% of the evening’s donations will go to the pioneering nonprofit Dirty Girls of Lesvos, which cleans and redistributes the discarded wet clothing of refugees arriving on the island. A reception follows the concert.

Where: Zion Lutheran Church, 495 9th Ave. (at Anza), San Francisco

Cost: Suggested donation: $15/person; $25/family
