Curium, the 96th element in the periodic table was named after the pioneering scientist Marie Curie. The element now symbolizes the innovations of female minds. The brilliant young ensemble Curium Trio specializes in music of female composers but also presents masterworks from the traditional repertoire. The Trio will usher in St. John’s month-long celebration of music and poetry by women in a tradition called the “Merry Mary Month of May”.  Come, enjoy the music! The event is free.
