A three-day series for students and young adults to creatively prepare for Advent

Thursday, November 29, 2018 (All day) to Sunday, December 2, 2018 (All day)

The Episcopal Chaplaincy at Berkeley invites college/grad students and other young adults to get ready for Advent beginning Thursday, November 29. You can attend any or all of the events. Thursday, 7 p.m. following the weekly candlelit evensong there will be a special presentation on Kierkegaard and how one chooses to live. Saturday, December 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Day retreat on the spiritual imagination. In the morning we will focus on the idea of imagination, incarnation, and making room. In the afternoon there will be a workshop using the music of Hildegard von Bingen as a spiritual discipline. Sunday, December 2, 7 p.m.: Advent Carol Service. We will have our final choral service of the semester with a festive Advent based lessons and carols.
