Three Epiphany Writing Meditations on the intersections of Justice and Race

Tuesday, January 12, 2021, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

 Tuesdays, January 12,19 & 26, 2021 - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

It can be said that the Season of Epiphany is marked by revelation, by an awakening, and by learning new responses to old beliefs. In this spirit, this special three-week Epiphany Writing Meditation will include a focus on the intersections of justice and race. By leaning into the words of writers and poets of color, as well as to various pieces of scripture, participants will be invited to unpack and respond to their own justice journey through writing by hand, in community.

Join author Cara Meredith for this virtual writing meditation that leans creativity and spirituality through the simple act of writing. All are welcome, no matter where you are in your writing or spiritual life. Cara, an Oakland-based author and member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, is also a conversationalist at intersections of justice, race and privilege. All participants will receive a copy of Cara Meredith's book, "The Color of Life: A Journey towards Love and Racial Justice."

Cost: $45 for all three sessions, Scholarships are available. If you have any questions, contact Amy Cook,
