Violin Maestro Patrick Galvin Performs to Benefit International Refugee Assistance

Award-winning violinist Patrick Galvin, a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, will be joined bypianist Jungeun Kim to perform the recently premiered American Troubadours, by local composer Stefan Cwik. The program also includes music from Bach to Bartok.

Concert presenters are Zion Lutheran Church and Interfaith Refugee Welcome, whose members represent more than a dozen Bay Area faith organizations dedicated to providing refugee assistance in a variety of ways. Fully 100% of the evening’s donations will go directly to the pioneering nonprofit Dirty Girls of Lesvos, which cleans and redistributes the wet clothing and other items discarded by arriving refugees. A reception follows the concert.
