Wellness Resources

Living Compass (www.livingcompass.org)

Living Compass is outfitting individuals, families, congregations, and organizations with tools and training for the journey toward wellness and wholeness. Initially developed by an Episcopal priest who is also a psychologist, these materials center around finding balance, beginning with the individual wellness assessment. Resources are now available for adult groups, families, teens, and seasonal resources. Several resources are available in Spanish. Most resources are free, or very low cost.

Also, under Resources are 8 free church programs. These 4-session programs include these topics:

  • Mindful Eating
  • Living Well in the Midst of Grief and Loss
  • Forgiveness
  • Aging Well
  • Building Healthy Relationships
  • Emotional Wellness
  • Enhancing Your Well Being with Spiritual Practices
  • Wellness for Parents

Living Compass also runs free training sessions online to become a Certified Wellness Advocate and lead wellness circles. Check out the website for details.
