Bishop Marc presided over a special Pentecost Holy Eucharist this Sunday, June 4, at True Sunshine Episcopal Church in San Francisco’s Chinatown. This occasion celebrated True Sunshine's 112th anniversary; Bishop Marc confirming four True Sunshine members; and the Rev. Franco Kwan officially taking his leave and retiring as True Sunshine's Rector after serving for 18 years. In attendance were members of the Diocesan staff, the Rev. Dr. Fred Vergara (Episcopal Asiamerican Missioner), the Rev. Eric Metoyer (Canon to the Ordinary Pro Tempore), Bishop Andrew Shin, clergy of the Asian Commission of DioCal, and members of True Sunshine and Our Saviour parishes.
