We hope that you have reviewed all of the information on St. Luke's website ( ) including our Parish Profile and OTM portfolio. We believe our Parish Profile gives a good picture of St. Luke's, including our hopes for our new Rector.

Once you have received clearance to apply you will be invited to begin the application process and sent the email address for application submissions.

Applications must include:

  • A cover letter, including what attracts you to St. Luke’s
  • Your resume
  • Your OTM portfolio
  • Links to two audio/video sermons (those included in your OTM portfolio are acceptable)
  • Answers in writing to the following questions:
    • Ministry gifts can take many forms: some priests are deep spiritualists, some are gifted preachers, some are profoundly compassionate pastors, some are towering intellectuals, and some are studious academics. How would you describe your gifts? What gives you the greatest joy in your ministry?
    • Please describe your efforts in helping a parish grow in numbers and/or vitality, particularly in an urban environment. Tell us whether or not your efforts were successful and what you learned from the experience. How would you help build enthusiasm for and participation in growth initiatives at St. Luke’s?

The period during which we will be accepting applications ends on February 15.  When we receive your application, we will promptly notify you to acknowledge receipt and to let you know if your application is incomplete in any respect.
